OBITUARY

BILLY J. GILBERT FUNERAL SERVICES HELD IN ANNA

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Anna Baptist Church for Billy Gilbert, 26, who died in the Veteran's Hospital, McKinney, June 1. He was stricken Sunday with a cerebral hemorrhage while on duty at the hospital where he was employed.
Gilbert was a veteran of World War II. He served several months overseas. After his discharge from the service he made his home in Carrollton with this uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. Newt Gilbert. He was formerly employed by a metal products firm here and for T. G. Gelley's Awning Co., Dallas.
Billy will be long remembered by his many friends in Carrollton and Farmers Branch.
He is survived by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Howell Gilbert of Anna; three sisters, Joan of Anna, Mrs. Jack Bruner of Lancaster and Mrs. Billy Howard Baldwin of Dallas.
