Garth Layton Glidewell, Jr., age 68, of Lewisville, passed away Sunday,
December 4, 2016, in Denison.
He was born May 27, 1948 in Dallas, Texas to
Garth and
Fonza Glidewell.
Jr married Kathy Glidewell on July 9, 1977 in Lewisville.
A loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle
and friend Jr is survived by his children; Misty Glidewell, Christy
Glidewell, Dusty Jansen, Michelle Glidewell and her husband Ryan Mattes,
Garth Glidewell, III and his wife, Heather, Lindsey Price and her
husband Jared, Alex Jansen, Cody Glidewell and Samantha Glidewell;
eleven grandchildren, September, Skylar, Ethan, Tanner, Elizabeth,
Makayla, Patrick, Claudia, Katherine, William and Garth IV; two
great-grandchildren, Ryleigh and Lyric; sister, Darlene Jonas and
brother Raymond Glidewell and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathy Glidewell in 2011, and a
daughter, Leslie Glidewell in 1982 and a brother, Henry Lee Glidewell in
2004.

A memorial service to celebrate Jr’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m.
Saturday, December 10, 2016 at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home in Lewisville.
