OBITUARY

GOOD
John Allen "Sally", 89, Carrollton, passed away January 10, 1991. Mr. Good was born in Carrollton, June 23, 1901. He was a farmer, mechanic and lifelong resident of Carrollton. He was the son of one of the original founders of the First Baptist Church of Carrollton and a descendant of a pioneer family in the Dallas and Carrollton area. Survived by wife, Ora Pearson Good; daughter Jo Ann Noel and son-in-law, James Noel, Carrollton; grandsons; James Noel Jr. of Schuyler, VA, Joe Noel and Justin Noel of Carrollton; great-grandchild, Jennifer Noel, Carrollton; brother, Leonard Good, Arlington; sister Lorena Johnston, Greenville; a host of loving nieces, nephews and friends. Services 1:00 P.M., Monday, January 14, 1991, First Baptist Church of Carrollton, Dr. Wayne Allen and (Ret) Major General Robert Preston Taylor officiating. Interment Forest Lawn Cemetery. Pallbearers: Harold Wayne Dennis, Philip R. Carver, F. M. Good, Joe Taylor, Claude (Tiny) Thompson, Billy Carl Pearson. Family will receive friends Sunday 6:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

WEDDING

MRS. GOOD SHOWERED
Mrs. Allen Good, who until a few weeks ago was Miss Ora Pearson was beautifully showered in the home of Mrs. J. P. Seaman Friday afternoon of last week. Several contests were in order Mrs. Jim Johnston being winner in one was presented with a tiny brides cake decorated with a dainty little kewpie dressed as a bride.  Many beautiful and useful gifts were brought.
