Groom-Graham, Vita Jo

Vida was born on October 23, 1927 in East Texas and has called Dallas home for over 40 years. She was in Real Estate for many years. She was preceded in death by her first husband Fred Groom, Jr., and is survived by her loving husband of 20 years, John Graham. Vida passed away on August 11, 2008 after battling Alzheimer's for a number of years. She is also survived by daughter, Sharon Tobe, son Randall Groom both of Pagosa Springs, Colorado, two grandsons, Jonathan Tobe, Carrollton, Texas, and Travis Groom, The Colony, Texas. The family would like to thank Carrollton Health & Rehabilitation and Vitas Hospice for their loving and compassionate care given to Vida over the past few months. Visitation with the family will be held at Rhoton Funeral Home, Tuesday evening from 6 pm to 7 pm. A graveside service will be held at Restland Cemetery on Wednesday, August 13, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. Family ask that any memorials be made to the Alzheimer's Research Foundation.
