OBITUARY Lela Stafford
Granberry Services for Lela Granberry, 47, of Palestine will be
held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church of Palestine with Dr. Jay
Abernathy officiating. Burial will follow in Olive Branch Cemetery. Arrangements
are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home. Mrs. Granberry passed
away Wednesday (Oct. 29, 2008) in Anderson County. She was born Oct. 7, 1961 in
Waco to David Paul and Helen Louise Wood Stafford. Mrs. Granberry attended
Baylor University and graduated from UTA. She worked for the Texas Department of
Health and Human Services in quality control in Tyler and Palestine. She was a
member of First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs.
Granberry is survived by her mother, Helen Stafford; daughter, Jessica Granberry;
brothers, Daniel Paul Stafford and wife Lisa, and Roger Wood Stafford and wife
Chris. Pallbearers will be David Richie, Steve Jenkins, Fred Browning, Walt
Smith, Lee Bishop, and Troy Clark. Condolence calls will be from 5 to 6 p.m.
today in the Bailey and Foster Funeral Home.
