OBITUARY
BILLY GRAVLEY
Billy John Gravley Sr., 63, of Carrollton, died Thursday, May 7, 1998, at his
home in Gunter.
Mr. Gravley was born July 12, 1934 in Carrollton, a grandson of Jake and May
Gravley. Retired as director of maintenance from Carrollton/Farmers Branch
Independent School District in 1997.
He is survived by his wife, Nelda; children, Rocky and Kathy Gravley, Bobby and
Kathy Gravley, Patty and Sonny Bartlowe, Terri and Charlie Tolbert, Mary and
Ricky Wynn, Kenneth and Tammy Hodges; grandchildren, Chris, Kevin, Melissa,
Kendra, Katy, Clint, Ashley, Jake, Emily, Bryan, Hannah, Nicole and Puddin; his
mother Pat Bowen; brother Frank Gravley. He was preceded in death by a daughter,
Donna Cox.
Funeral services were May 9 at the First United Methodist Church, Carrollton.
burial was at Hilltop Memorial Park
in Carrollton under the direction of Rhoton Funeral Home.
