GRAVLEY - John L., aged 83, passed away at local hospital Monday. Survived by wife, Mrs. Lula Gravley; four sons, Jake, Will, Earl and Roy Gravley, all of Carrollton; two daughters, Mrs. J. W. Cook of Perryton, Mrs. Walter Kennedy of Carrollton; three brothers, A. M. Gravley of Denton, B. A. Gravley of Dodd City, Mack Gravley of Pickens, S.C.; twenty grandchildren, sixteen great-grandchildren. Funeral services 4 p.m. Tuesday, Carrollton Methodist Church, Rev. N. D. Oliver of Lewisville and Rev. J. W. Slagle of Carrollton officiating. Pallbearers: J. C. Cook, W. C. Cook, Calvin Gravley, Clarence Gravley, Oran Gravley, Warren L. Gravley, J. W. Gravley, John L. Gravley Jr., A. E. Gravley and W. T. Squibb. Burial is in Frankford Cemetery. Arrangements with Rhoton Funeral Home, Carrollton, phone 137.
