Candace Green
March 6, 1946 - October 23, 2019

Candace Sadler Green, age 73, of Frisco, and most recently Ferris, Texas, passed away on Wednesday, October 23, 2019. Candy was born March 6, 1946 in Sweetwater, Texas to Thomas and Tommie Sadler. She was raised in Carrollton, Texas and was a 1964 graduate of R.L. Turner High School.

Candy's greatest joy in life was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a love of dogs, the outdoors, (she really loved when severe weather would roll in) and sports. Her favorite team was the Oklahoma Sooners.

Candy is survived by her former husband, Terry Green, her son Derek Green and his wife Kristin, son Matthew Green; grandchildren Makenzie Green, Keeton Green, Kolton Green, Cannon Green, and Harlie Green; brother Charlie Sadler and his wife Carla; niece Dustin Kate Sadler; Aunt Frances Tankersley; cousins Jim Tankersley, Greg Tankersley, Wells Watson, and Lynn Watson, and many other extended family members and friends.

A celebration of life for Candy will be held Wednesday, October 30, 2019 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 South Interstate 35E, Carrollton, TX 75006.

As per Candy’s request, her body has been sent to the Willed Body Program at UT-Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas for Medical Studies and Education.
