GRIGGS, DEBORAH STURGIS, 51, of Joshua, TX. Monday at 3:40PM at Plaza Medical Center of Ft. Worth Jesus came into Deborah's room & told her "Well, done thy good and faithful servant." Deborah was an active Christian and a devout believer and devoted to her children. Her sweet voice will be missed by her church choir. Her heart & spirit were full of love and light which she shared with all who knew her. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Houston Sturgis. She is survived by her husband Christopher Griggs; her loving children Charles, Chris & Nicole; parents James & Faye Sturgis; sisters Melanie Sturgis, Barbara Bell, Mary Beth Abbott & brother John P. Brooks. The family will receive friends Wednesday, March 16, 2005 at North Dallas Funeral Home 6:00-8:00PM. There will be a funeral service Thursday, March 17, 2005 11:00AM at Shepherd's Valley Cowboy Church, 3437 CR 807, Egan, TX, Pastor Russ Weaver officiating. There will be a Celebration of Life Service, Friday, 11AM, March 18, 2005 in the Memorial Chapel of North Dallas Funeral Home. The Reverend Weldon L. Burchett will be bringing the message assisted by Reverend Mike Wiley. Following the Celebration of Life Service there will be a procession to Hilltop Memorial Park where Deborah will be laid to rest. Funeral arrangements are under the personal direction of her brother John P. Brooks.
