Melva Gunn passed away July 2 and was laid to rest Saturday July 6th.She taught 5th grade at FB Elementary on Valley View. Her first year was 1960. After the old school was closed she taught at Central Elementary in Carrollton.
She had two children Paul Gunn who passed away March 11th and Carole Waddill.She also had one grandson Jeffery Brian Waddill

She was laid to rest at the Hamilton-Beeman Cemetery at Retreat, Navarro County, Texas
