BENNETT SHELTON GUYNES, 79, passed away at a Houston hospital on March 26, 2002. Mr. Guynes was born in Dallas, Texas on April 24, 1922. Bennett retired from Burlington Northern Railroad after 37 years of service. He also served as past president of The Transportation Club of Houston. Survived by sister and brother-in-law Sara and G.A. Salmon, Carrollton; long time friend, Howard C. Martin, Houston; numerous nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at Rhoton Funeral Home. Graveside services 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 29, 2002 at Hilltop Memorial Park, Carrollton, Texas.
