OBITUARY
 
Ronnie R. Hardin of Irving, Texas
December 25, 1950 - October 31, 2019
Ronnie R. Hardin, 68, a resident of Irving for 38 years, died Thursday, October 31, 2019 in the Vitas Inpatient Unit of Baylor, Scott, and White Medical Center in Carrollton. Born December 25, 1950 in Dallas, he was the son of the late J. B. Hardin and Dorothy Martin Hardin. He was a self-employed commercial truck driver. He married Rebecca Ann Atteberry April 10, 1981 in Las Vegas, Nevada. He was a member of the Humblers Golfers.
Preceded in death by a granddaughter, Emma Canney, his parents, and by his siblings Richard Lee, Gary Wayne and Patsy Ruth Hardin, he is survived by his wife Rebecca of Irving; sons, Gene Canney and wife Christine of Harrison, Arkansas and Phillip Hardin of Irving; two sisters, Sandra Darden of Lewisville and Joyce Kirby of Corpus Christi; a brother Terry Hardin of Lake Buchanan; and three grandchildren, Clayton Canney, Bowden Hardin, and Cooper Canney.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at First Baptist Church, 403 South Main Street in Irving. The funeral will be at 2:00 p.m. in the Worship Center. Burial will follow at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, 1413 East Irving Blvd. under the direction of Donnelly’s Colonial Funeral Home, 606 West Airport Freeway in Irving.
