OBITUARY

Augusta Mae Hartline, 62, was born Augusta Mae Hindman on August 22, 1941 and she passed away on February 8, 2004 at the East Texas Hospice Home Place in Tyler at 1:08 p.m.

Mrs. Hartline was a member of the West Lake Baptist Church in Chandler, Texas.  She was a devoted spouse, mother, neighbor and friend, as well as maintained a career throughout much of her life.  Mrs. Hartline had an enormous amount of compassion and empathy for others and always lending an ear or shoulder when needed.

Prior to retirement, Mr. and Mrs. Hartline lived in Farmers Branch, Carrollton, and Plano and then retired to Chandler, TX on Lake Palestine in 1998.

Mrs. Hartline was survived by spouse Tracy P. Hartline and three children: La Treca, Tracy Bret (and their spouses,) and Victoria; seven grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.  She was also survived by one brother; and three sisters; along with a multitude of other family members and "Adopted" loved ones, Christy A. Stone and Debbie S. Wood.

The Hartlines would like to give special recognition with sincerest gratitude to Augusta's sister, Gloria Downey and dear friends: Melba Taylor, Mr. and Mrs. Bo Newman, Mr. and Mrs. Bill Iverson and Family, Mr. and Mrs. Jay F. Marcum and Family, J. C. Statler, Sr. and the Statler Family.

A memorial service for Augusta Mae Hartline, 62, will be held Thursday, February 12 at 4:00 p.m. with Reverend Ray M. Hartline, Sr. officiating under direction of Ted Dickey Funeral Home, 2128 18th Street, Plano, Texas.
