OBITUARY
 

Charles Lee Hosey
Birth Date: June 1, 1944 - Death Date: June 24, 2019

Charles Lee Hosey, age 75, passed away on Monday, June 24, 2019 in Carrollton, Texas. He was born on June 1, 1944 to Herman Hosey and Louise Williams Hosey in Corvallis, Oregon. Charles married Janice S. Brown on August 31, 1962 in Carrollton, Texas. He was part of the Carrollton Fire Department for 32 years. Charles loved his family, spending his time in retirement with his wife, grand kids and great grand kids. He also loved helping with projects of family and friends. Charles enjoyed RVing, making numerous friendships throughout his travels. He started his career with CFD at age 19, holding various positions and retiring as Fire Marshall/Chief. Charles was a member of FBC Carrollton. He enjoyed greeting members and helping members that had lost loved ones with home repair and maintenance. One highlight was the time spent as a chaperone and bus drive on many mission trips.

Charles is survived by his wife, Janice Hosey; sons, Mike and wife Cande Hosey of McKinney, Texas and Mark Hosey of Bonham, Texas; his father, Herman Hosey of Farmers Branch, Texas; four grandchildren; and five great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be on Wednesday, June 26, 2019 at 3:00 PM at First Baptist Church Carrollton. A visitation will take place one hour prior, from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM.
