Mrs. Clay Tona Hubbs Is Buried At Perry Cemetery

In Memoriam

Mrs. Clay Tona Hubbs died Wednesday, January 5 at 5 a.m. at the home of her daughter, Mrs. W. W. Fletcher. Born in Mississippi, Mrs. Hubbs lived twenty years in Dallas county and all but a few years of this time was a resident of Carrollton. She died at the age of 76 from complications brought on by the flu.
Mrs. Hubbs was confined to her home as an invalid for many years but all who visited her could not help but notice her cheerful spirit and radiant faith. Before she was prohibited by physical reasons, Mrs. Hubbs was an active member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. W. W. Fletcher of Carrollton, three grandchildren, and three great grandchildren.
The funeral service was held Thursday at the First Christian church at 10 a.m. with the pastor, John E. Boehmer, officiating. Burial was made in the Perry Cemetery.

CARD OF THANKS

May we take this opportunity to express our heart-felt appreciation to all our friends and neighbors who have been so kind in this our sorrow.
