Frances L. Inzer
(February 25, 1932 - March 3, 2013)

Frances L. Inzer, age 81 of Plano, TX passed away, March 3, 2013. She was born on February 25, 1932 in Houston, TX to Westley and Glennie Evans. She married Garland Inzer on October 23, 1954 in Albuquerque, NM. Frances Evans began her nursing career at age 20. After several years as an RN, she began teaching student nurses at the University of Oklahoma. Later, she obtained her Master’s Degree at UCLA and continued as a nursing instructor at the VA Hospital in Long Beach, CA. She served as the Associate Chief of Nursing Services for Education before retiring there and returning with her husband to Oklahoma City, OK. Survivors include her husband, Garland Inzer; son, Kerry Duane Inzer and wife Sabra of Dallas, TX; sister, Rita Kinnamon and husband Lynn of Houston, TX; grandchildren, Samantha Wanagel, Stephanie Meyer, Jonathan Meyer, Zachary Inzer and Emily Inzer; numerous extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Donna Roxanne Inzer Meyer in 2008. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M., Saturday, March 9, 2013 at the First Baptist Church Hebron in Carrollton, TX. Visitation will be from 5:00-9:00 P.M., Friday, March 8, 2013 also at the church. Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home of Lewisville, TX is in charge of arrangements. (972) 436-4581
