OBITUARY

Mrs. N. R. Jones Passes to Great Beyond

Laura Ann Owen Jones was born September 19, 1880, in Wilson Co., Tenn. She died July 3, 1938, at 9:30 P.M. at the age of 57 yrs. 9 mo. 16 days. She professed faith in Christ at the age of 13 years and joined a Baptist church in Tennessee at the age of 18.  She moved her membership to the Union Baptist church, Aug 1933.
She is survived by her husband, Mr. N. R. Jones; seven children, Gilbert B. Jones, Mrs. Daniel Nix, Raymond Jones, Mrs. Elmer Davis, all of Carrollton; Mrs. W. W. Shields, Mrs. Ray McDaniel, Hebron; Mrs. Frank Miller, Aubrey; 11 grandchildren; one brother, G. E. Blade, Ethridge; one sister, Mrs. Mary Truitt, Jonesboro, Arkansas.
Funeral services were held at the Union Baptist church Monday, July 4, Rev. L. M. Jones conducting the services at 2 o'clock p.m., interment was made in Cemetery Hill.
