DOVIE JOSEPHINE KNIGHT
Dovie Josephine Knight was born in 1889 at Middleton, Tenn, and came to Texas in
1895; joined the Baptist church at the age of sixteen; was married to W. B.
Knight on Dec 22, 1907 at Letot. Died at Coppell, Texas, Aug 11, 1928. She
leaves to mourn her departure the husband, six children, her father and mother,
three brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Knight passed away after a short illness. The death was one of God's
children going to sleep in His love, and with the assurance that His love is
sufficient for all. Not a struggle was made as the spirit ascended to its maker
above, and left all that was earthly here.
The remains was laid t rest in the
Forest Lawn Cemetery,
Monday evening, Aug. 18, at 4. o'clock.
