OBITUARY

MRS. CY LANE DEAD

Mrs. Cy Lane died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Bob Hazlewood, near Carrollton Monday night after a lingering illness of several years.  Her husband, Cy Lane, formerly constable of this precinct for several years died sometime like a year ago.  Mrs. Lane is survived by eight children and Mrs. Elbert McGee of Richardson is the youngest girl, with whom she made her home about half the time. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. T. W. Lovell of the Carrollton Methodist church at the Carrollton cemetery, where interment was given Wednesday afternoon. Mrs. Lane was 59 years old at the time of her death and was born and reared in the Farmers Branch community, being before her marriage, Miss Alice Taylor. The families of Phil Offutt, J. H. Nelson, A. J. McGee and Mr. and Mrs. Elbert McGee from Richardson, attended the funeral.
