Tammy Lawson Obituary
Tammy Lee Lawson, age 53, of Dallas, went on to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, January 13, 2024. A celebration of her life will be held at 3:00p.m. Friday, January 19th, 2024, at Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan, Texas.

Tammy was born on Friday, April 17, 1970, to Clifford Allan Lawson and Sharon Pierce. She attended R.L. Turner High School in Carrolton, where she played the flute, sang in the school choir, and enjoyed dancing. Tammy had a compassionate heart and loved to help others. As a teenager, she worked as a candy stripper for Brookhaven Hospital in Dallas. She also enjoyed giving back to others through her involvement with the Brownies and Bluebirds in Farmers Branch. Tammy also had an incredible compassion for animals and enjoyed caring for strays. She had a kind heart and a unique spirit. She always rooted for the underdog and freely gave of herself. She never met a stranger and loved the chance to be there for someone in need of help or just a place to stay. She loved all genres of music from Country to R&B and especially artists such as Prince, Marvin Gaye, Boys II Men, Reba. She enjoyed working puzzles and playing games with friends and family. She collected VHS Disney movies and loved purple. She admired the simple beauty of sunflowers and spent many days riding bicycles in the neighborhood, family times included camping and fishing, spending time at her grandparents' and aunt's home. She went on to be a mother and always had a house full of dogs and cats and any animal that needed refuge. She was preceded in death by her father, Clifford Allan Lawson of Alabama.

She is greatly loved and will be dearly missed by her sons, Payne Allan Lawson of Huntsville, Alabama, and Rodney Wyatt Lawson of Dallas; her mother, Sharon Pierce, and husband Albert of Caddo Mills; brothers: Bryan Lawson of Huntsville, Alabama and Ray Webb and wife Kate of Caddo Mills; sisters: Damaris Lawson of Wills Point, Texas, Stepsiblings Kristi Holt of Greenville, Camille Harris, Ken Webb and Sandy Webb of Irving; nephews: Trey, Devian, Brandyn, and many other nieces and nephews.
