OBITUARY

Edward Regis Limoges
(November 25, 1945 - May 29, 2014)

Edward Regis Limoges (Reggie), age 68, former Pilot Point and Pottsboro, TX, resident was born on November 25, 1945, to Edward Raymond Limoges and Lenore (Crouch) Limoges in Portland, Maine. His parents brought him to Texas within six months of his birth.

He attended R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, TX, before joining the U.S. Navy. He served as a hospital corpsman assigned to a Marine Unit in Vietnam. After his enlistment, he turned his hand to various machine repair jobs. As a skilled mechanic, he became a Millwright, eventually retiring from LTV in the late 1980's. He came to Pilot Point where he took care of his grandmother, Edna Crouch, and opened a small engine repair shop. He met and married his wife there.

Reggie and his wife retired to Pottsboro in 2008, where he continued to be active in various civic and charitable organizations. He was a member of Faith Assembly of God in Denison, TX.

Reggie is survived by his wife, Annette Crawley Limoges. The couple have no children, but Reggie was the "favorite uncle" of 6-yr-old Triston Crawley of Pottsboro. In addition, he leaves behind his beloved nieces, Christy Jacobs of The Colony, TX; Patricia Richardson of Livingston, TX; and Barbara Griffin of Van Alstyne, TX; and nephew Kenneth Ballard of Aubrey, TX. He is also survived by his uncle and aunt, Mike and Mary Jo Limoges of Fort Worth, TX.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Sherry Limoges Dindios.

Per his request there will not be a funeral, but a celebratory memorial will be held in honor of Reggie's life on June 7, 2014, at 11:30 a.m. at Faith Assembly of God, 5019 Hwy 84, in Denison, TX. He will be interred with his family at Belew Cemetery in Aubrey.

Condolences can be made online at: www.cravensfuneralhome.com .

The Limoges Family is under the Personal Care of Cravens Funeral Home in Sherman, TX.
