OBITUARY
 
Paul Otto Loftice
April 11, 1929 - May 14, 2017

Paul Otto Loftice of Van Alstyne, Texas passed away on May 14, 2017 at the age of 88. He was born on April 11, 1929 to P.O. and Catherine (Blackwell) Loftice in Chambersville, Texas. Paul married Anne Meserian on June 8, 1951 in Hartford, Connecticut. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy retiring after 25 years of service. While in the service, Paul was a Senior Chief Machinist. He also was a retired school teacher, having taught school at R.L. Turner High School in Farmers Branch, Texas for 10 years. Paul was also a pig farmer. He was a member of Chambersville United Methodist Church. Paul was very involved in his children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren’s lives. He and Anne loved to travel in their camper.
Paul is survived by his wife, Anne Loftice of Van Alstyne, Texas; children, David Loftice and wife, Judy of Edgewater, Maryland, Mark Loftice and wife Carol also of Van Alstyne, Texas, Debra Jones and husband, Perry of Rockwall, Texas, Michael Loftice and wife, Susan of Mexia, Texas, Sharon Mahoney of Little Elm, Texas, Kevin Loftice and wife, Cheryl of Howe, Texas; 20 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and numerous other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and daughter, Paulann McGuffey.
A memorial service will be held at 12:00 noon, Saturday, May 20, 2017 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas.
