OBITUARY

Cleo Whitlock London
Services for Cleo Whitlock London of Longview will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Woodland Christian Church with the Rev. George H. Richardson officiating. Burial will be at Rosewood Park. Visitation will be 6-8 pm. today at Lakeview Funeral Home. Mrs. London passed away July 25, 1997, at her residence.
She was born in Carrollton, Texas, to early Dallas County pioneers Jim and Adelyn Ausbrook Whitlock. She was a homemaker and a retired teacher, holding a master's degree from East Texas State University. She began her teaching career at Seagoville, Texas, then went to Arizona for two years. She taught many years in the Spring Hill Independent School District, and then retired from the Longview Independent School District.  Mrs. London was a longtime member of the Woodland Christian Church, where she also taught Sunday school.
She is survived by her husband, Bob; a daughter and son-in-law, Mary Alice and Leon Holland of Warner Robbins, Ga.; a son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Joe Ann London of Longview; grand children, Allison and Neal Wilcox of Baton Rouge, La., Adam and Kari MacFarland of Warner Robbins, and Chris and Cathy London of Longview; and two great grandchildren, Johanna and Connor Wilcox, both of Baton Rouge.
Memorials may be made to a charity of choice or to the Woodland Christian Church of Longview.
