OBITUARY

MANESS
PEGGY JOYCE MCGEE MANESS was born October 8, 1931 in Paris, Texas where she attended high school and junior college. She was married to Thomas Wade Maness May 22, 1950. Since Tommy's graduation from Texas A & M University in 1952, their family resided in Farmers Branch, Texas. She left this world to join her family in heaven on March 28, 2003. Her husband, family and friends will miss her insight on decisions, her caring for others, and her love and appreciation of natural beauty. Peggy is preceded in death by her parents, Carl Newton McGee and Gertrude Anna McGee; daughter, Leslie Maness Morgan; son, Carl Thomas Maness; and brother Carl Newton McGee. Survived in death by her husband, Thomas Wade Maness; aunt, Era McGee; grandsons, Carl Thomas Maness Morgan, and Matthew Wade Morgan. She is loved and will be missed by a close, large extended family; sister in laws, Ann Coulter and Betty Sue Maness; brother in law, Richard Maness; nieces, Sherry Tepfer, Kathy Cates, Dr. Patti Maness-Casias, Jeanette Crawford; nephews, Richard McGee, Duane, Maurice, and Richard Coulter, Dennis and Maurice Maness; cousins, Anna Lawhorn, Lou Weems, Mary Self, Martha Hutchenson, Lewis Gilley, Billie Springer, Ina May Sheppard, Joy Simpson, and 21 great nieces and nephews. We will celebrate Peggy's life on Saturday, April 5, 2:00 P.M., at Dalton and Son Funeral Home in Lewisville, Texas.
