OBITUARY

MARTON, DAVID, 70, passed away in Carrollton , TX on March 23, 2005. He was born on October 12, 1934 in Evanston, WY. Later in life David moved to the Carrollton area and was employed at Palmer Paper Company from 1955 to 1994. David served as the first girl's soccer coach for R. L. Turner High School. He started by coaching his own daughters' before girls were allowed on teams. He coached in the area for over 20 years and brought home a district championship for R. L. Turner. He was a resident of the Carrollton /Farmers Branch area for 26 years and later settled in The Colony for the last 21 years. David was a member of the Jaycee's for 13 years in addition to receiving the Jaycee of the Year award. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Sharon Marton. David leaves to cherish his legacy and memories, his wife of 47 years, Jonnie Marton; daughters, Cyndi Marton; Teresa Courson & husband, Mark; Cassie Warford & husband, Greg; grandsons, Chris & Ryan Courson, Brandon & Austin Warford; great granddaughter, Kylie Courson; sister, Annie Naucke, numerous nieces, nephews, and special loved ones. A memorial service honoring David's life will be celebrated on Tuesday, March 29, 2005, 10 a.m., at Rhoton Funeral Home Chapel. Dignity Memorial Rhoton Funeral Home I35 at Crosby Rd.
