Zachary Wayne McDonald
December 6, 1985 - February 20, 2013


Zachary Wayne McDonald, 27, passed away on February 20 2013 in Ft Worth Texas.
He was born on December 6, 1985 in Carrollton, Texas, the son of Randy and Penny McDonald (Taylor). He graduated from Newman Smith High School in 2004 and attended the University of North Texas as well as the University of Texas at Dallas.
He was a baseball player through Carrollton Little League as well as soccer until he was 16.

Zachary is survived by his mother, Penny, Kathryn Rose- the love of his life, his uncle Chet McDonald, aunt Glenda McDonald, aunt Pamela Mancina, uncle Sam Mancina, his stepmother Connie McDonald, stepbrother Steven Garnett, cousins Michael Mancina, Denise Mancina, Katy McDonald, and Jody McDonald.

Zachary worked in the financial industry and most recently in the culinary field. Zachary was an avid inline skater since the age of 10. He continued this passion through his adult life. Zach had a kind heart, a quick wit and a deep love for dogs. Throughout his brief life he brought joy to all he touched. He was dearly loved. He will be very much missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life will be held March 2 at 2PM, St Andews United Methodist Church, 5801 W Plano Parkway, Plano, Texas 75093
In lieu of flowers donations can be made to Operation Kindness.

Only A Moment

I must leave you now for a while
But go on bravely with a smile
For my sake and for my name
Live on and do your things the same
Spend not your life in empty days
Fill every hour in useful ways
I send words in comfort, dear
Until the day I hold you near
