OBITUARY

Clinton Meador
Funeral services for Clinton Meador, 77, of Tioga, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday in the First Baptist Church of Tioga with the Rev. Brad Layton officiating assisted by the Rev. E. Wilbur Carter. Burial will follow at Furneaux Cemetery.
Meador died Monday at home. He was born Sept. 28, 1899 in the Hebron community. He lived in the Tioga area for 35 years and worked as a farmer. His parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. Dewitt Meador. He married Fay Morriss June 14, 1925 in Lewisville, Meador served as a deacon of the First Baptist Church of Tioga.
Survivors include his wife, Fay Meador of Tioga; three daughters, Rozelle Krueger of Cedar Hills, Clinta Fay Tischler of Pleasant Grove and Nelda Joy Branum; one brother, Delos Meador of Dallas; one sister, Mary Emma Slovak of Lewisville; six grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
The funeral arrangements are being handled by Beck Funeral Home of Pilot Piont. The family will be there for visitation from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.
