Ray Lewis Miller

Ray Lewis Miller, 80, of Midlothian went to be with his Lord and Savior on Monday, January 18, 2016 in Dallas. Graveside services celebrating Ray’s life will be held under the direction of Ingram Funeral Home in Quinlan at 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, January 20, 2016 at Lynch Cemetery in Rains County with Brother Rodney Williams officiating.
Ray was born August 12, 1935 in Dallas. He is the son of the late Lewis W. Miller and A. Ollie Ravencraft Miller. He was raised and educated in Dallas. Ray married Elsie Henderson on August 19, 1960 and they made their home in Dallas. Later moving to Mesquite before finally settling in Midlothian 23 years ago. He worked as a sheet metal fabricator all of his life, retiring in 1995. He was also preceded in death by a grandson Christian Laynce Miller and his sister Marilyn Moses. His hobbies included Leather tooling, fishing and playing bingo.
He is loved and will be missed by his wife Elsie Mae Miller of Midlothian; sons Steven Miller of Midlothian, Christopher Miller of Midlothian; daughter Misty Miller and husband J.R. of Mabank; granddaughter Chelby Layne Miller of Midlothian and several other relatives and friends.
