OBITUARY
 
Sandra Gail Mitchell
1954 - 2023

Sandra Gail (Marchant) Mitchell, 68, of Carrollton, Texas passed away peacefully on April 25, 2023. Sandra was born on December 5, 1954 to Hobart and Helen Marchant in Dallas, Texas. After Sandra graduated from R.L. Turner high school she went on to become a mother of three & worked as a real estate and travel agent for the majority of her career. She spent her life raising her children near immediate and extended family in the Carrollton and Farmers Branch area.

She is preceded in death by her mother Helen Frances Marchant and father Hobart Clay Marchant. She is survived by her siblings Kenny Marchant and wife Donna Marchant, Randy Marchant and wife Cindy Marchant, Ron Marchant, and Pamela Marchant in addition to her children Shawn Marchant and wife Jenny Marchant, Guy Mitchell and wife Nancy Mitchell, Briana Strother and husband Wesley Strother and her grandchildren Chloe Marchant, Christian Marchant, Jayden Roberts, Wyatt Marchant, Sebastian Mitchell, Celeste Mitchell, Abigail Strother, and Elijah Strother.

It is with a heavy heart that we say goodbye to our beloved sister, mother, and Nana, who has left us with a profound sense of loss. She had a deep love for her family and a warm smile and welcoming spirit for strangers and friends alike. She lived her life with an insatiable appetite for adventure and a passion for good food. Her easy going spirit and love for life were evident in every encounter she had. Her unwavering faithfulness was evident in her long-standing membership at the Carrollton Church of the Nazarene.

She will be deeply missed, but her legacy of love, adventure, and joy will live on in the hearts of those who knew and loved her.
