OBITUARY

Edward Morgan Dies at Age 93

Funeral services for Edward Henley Morgan, 93, of 3504 Armstrong Ave., member of a pioneer Denton County family, and a longtime Dallas resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in Cox Chapel at Highland Park Methodist Church. Burial will be in Furneaux Cemetery near Carrollton.

Mr. Morgan died here Wednesday.

Born in Torquay, England, he had moved to Hebron, Denton County, in 1876, with his parents, the late John Henley and Margaret Morgan. The family farm in Hebron was originally part of the Peters Colony grant.

Mr. Morgan moved to Dallas in 1900 and joined Ginn & Co., publishers. From 1927 until his retirement in 1946, he was employed by the D. C. Health & Co., publishers.

A 32d Mason, he also was a Shriner and a longtime member of the Highland Park Methodist Church.

Survivors, all of Dallas, include a son, William Dillon Morgan a daughter, Miss Helen Elizabeth Morgan, and one grandchild.
