Jane Allyson Murdock passed into the loving arms of her Lord on November 9, 2013 after a brief battle with cancer. Allyson was born May 11, 1956 to Peggy and Walter Smith in Dallas, Texas. Allyson relished art, painting and crafts. She owned a T-shirt shop in her late 30's. She enjoyed raising her two children in the Cedar Creek Lake area. More recently she was a dedicated employee of Micro Center enjoying her friends and co-workers. Allyson is survived by her son Wes Murdock and his wife Laura; her daughter Molly Yarbrough and her husband Matt; grandsons Landon, Evan, Noah, Eli, Micah, and Jaxon. She is also survived by her brothers Walter Smith III and his wife Claire and W. Lynn Smith and his wife Theresa; nieces and nephews Walter IV, Emily, Kimbra, Leslie, Zachary, Melinda and Phillip; her uncle Gilmore Smith; her cousins William A. Smith and his wife Peggy, Michael Smith and Suzanne Doss and her husband Jeff. A memorial service will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, November 16, 2013 at Hackberry Creek Church, 2000 Kinwest Parkway, Irving, Texas 75063.
