Jerry Don Norton, Sr., 73, passed away Tuesday, August 27, 2019, in San Angelo.

Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Thursday, September 5, 2019 at Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery with military honor afforded by Ft. Hood Honor Guard. Cremation and arrangements are under the direction of Robert Massie Funeral Home in San Angelo.

Mr. Norton was born September 28, 1945 in Mangum, Oklahoma, growing up in Carrolton. Jerry Don was a veteran of the US Army serving during the Vietnam Conflict. Jerry Don married Shirley Mages and later married Jacey Warner Hardwick on August 26, 1988 in Waxahachie. He has been a resident of San Angelo since 2016 moving from Garland where he lived for 14 years. Jerry Don was a diesel mechanic, during his career he work for both John Deere and Caterpillar retiring in 2012. Jerry Don was a hardworking, honest man with a great sense of humor, and loved his family. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ottie and Myrtle (Morris) Norton; a brother, Gilbert Ray Norton; two sisters, Catherine Richardson and Wanda Gail Meyers; and a nephew, Lee Thomas Wise.

Survivors include his wife, Jacey Warner Norton of the home; two sons, Jerry Don Norton, Jr. of Carrolton and Ronnie Norton both of Grand Prairie; a daughter, Sue Ann Bouldin of Dallas; six grandchildren, Bobbie Chandler, Brittany Chandler, Holly Norton, Zachary Norton, Justin Norton and Rachel Norton; three great grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
