David Joel Parada of Farmers Branch, Texas, passed away on September 8, 2023 at the age of 35. He will be
 deeply missed by his loving family, his devoted friends, and all the wonderful individuals who knew and loved him.

David Joel Parada passed away at home Friday September 8, 2023. David was born in Dallas, TX, shortly after the family moved to Farmers Branch, TX where he spent most of his life. Attending Janie Stark Elementary, Vivian Field Middle School and graduating from R.L. Turner High School in 2006. David grew up playing outdoor with his sister neighborhood kids and little league baseball. David went on to pursue an associate degree from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts in Dallas. David loved food! He had a fascination about meats, cooking gourmet meals at home and for friends. David worked at some of the top restaurants and hotels in the DFW area: Knife Dallas & Plano, The Ritz Carlton, The W Hotel, Cadillac BBQ and many more.
David was the baby of the family. Survived by his sister Marina Salcido, brother Salvador Parada, & sister Diana Parada Gomez. Love dearly by his parents Maria Esther Parada & Jose E. Parada. Uncle David was the fun uncle, his nieces & nephews will miss him dearly. He leaves behind a beautiful baby girl, Laylani Aguirre.
David faced many challenges in life, including a battle with drug addiction. Despite these struggles, he was a beloved family member and friend who touched the lives of those around him with his kindness, sense of humor, and unwavering love.
He will be remembered for his infectious smile, his voice tress laugh, kind heart, passion for food and the joy he brought to others.
The family wishes to thank all those who supported David during his struggles and celebrated the moments of triumph with him. Your love and compassion will always be remembered.
