Daniel Perry

POTTSBORO -- Daniel "Danny" Bryan Perry, age 56, passed away Sunday, December 21, 2008 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison.

Mr. Perry was born September 14, 1952 in Dallas, Texas the son of Henry Dee and Leslie (Jackson) Perry. Danny married the love of his life, Cathy Gregory. He was an avid hunter and outdoorsman. He was happiest spending time enjoying nature and teaching his nephews how to hunt and fish. Danny was a loving husband, son, brother and uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Perry is survived by his loving family, wife, Cathy Perry of Pottsboro, TX; mother, Leslie Perry of Pottsboro,TX; sister, Dana Hyatt and husband, David of Pottsboro, TX and their children, Mason Hyatt and wife, Cathey of Rowlett, TX, Jeremy Hyatt and wife, Chanda of Gordonville, TX, Richard Hyatt and wife, Brenda of Rockwall, TX and Hunter Hyatt of Pottsboro, TX; sister, Shana Perry and husband, Gary Russell of Pottsboro, TX and their daughter, Leslie Decker of Pottsboro, TX; mother-in-law, Dorothy Gregory of Carrolton, TX; sister-in-law, Donna Teafatiller of Carrolton, TX and her children, Michelle and husband, Sean of Carrolton, TX, Michael and wife, Steffanie of Lumberton, TX; sister-in-law, Debbie Gregory of Justin, TX and her son, Charlie Free of Plugerville, TX; numerous great nieces and nephews.

Danny was cremated according to his wishes. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, December 29, 2008 at Lakeway United Methodist Church in Pottsboro with Pastor Sam Caldwell officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made in his name to Hagerman NWR Education Fund, 6465 Refuge Road, Sherman, TX 75092.
