OBITUARY Merrill McDaniel Perry, passed away December 1, 2005. She was born February 6, 1934, in Hemphill, TX, to Clement and Ardell McDaniel. She was a graduate of Austin High School in Austin, TX, and attended the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and the University of Texas, majoring in Home Economics. Merrill was loving and giving; helping her siblings, nieces and nephews when she could. She was very artistic, and loved doing craft projects. Deeply loved by her family and friends, she will be greatly missed. Merrill was preceded in death by her husband Henry D. Perry, and sister, Joyce McDaniel. She is survived by her parents, Clement and Ardell McDaniel of Hemphill, TX, brother, Carlin McDaniel and wife, Mary Ann, of Hemphill, TX, brother, Glen McDaniel and wife, Dee, of Lufkin, TX, sister, Barbara Smith and husband, Wilbur, of Gainesville, TX, nephews, John McDaniel, Brett McDaniel and Kyle McDaniel, and nieces Kristie Vick and Casey Weghorst, a great-niece and nephew, and step-children, Danny Perry, Dana Hyatt and Shana Russell. Services will be held Tuesday, December 6, 2005 at 11:00 a.m. at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, TX, with Dr. Joe Pool officiating. Burial will follow at the Perry Cemetery in Carrollton, TX.
