Former resident dies yesterday

Oscar Lee Pierce, 70, of Dallas, former long time Irving resident, died Friday at Methodist Hospital in Dallas.
A sheet-metal worker, he moved to Dallas two years ago from Irving. He was born in Irving April 10, 1905.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. in Ferno Cemetery at Carrollton.
He is survived by his wife, Clara; two sons, Perry Wayne Pierce of Irving, and Sam Pierce of Escelon, Calif.; two daughters, Mrs. Betty Jane Robinson of Dallas, and Mrs. Glenda Rose Murphey of Magnolia, Tex.; one sister, Ollie Mae Dunnagan of Kemp, Tex.; and one brother, Hubert Pierce of Dallas.
