I changed the name of the event, because I want you all to know that this is going to be a fun, casual event - we want to Celebrate her and her life, and so we're going to be having a party for her - there will be a DJ and lots of fun to be had, you can share stories and dance and we hope that you all come ready to enjoy yourselves - it's how Mama wants us to remember her!

This is going to be a celebration of Her life and Her legacy. We will have some food and champagne (of course), and we are working on Jazz music, one of her favorites. There will be keepsakes for all, Her children are working on that as we should be. I know that there is no way that I can reach everyone myself, so I am going to make this a public event. Feel free to send it to others, ask those that you think would want to attend, but also please ask them to somehow let us know if they are planning on attending.

There will be a craft station, for you to add photos (we will have some provided, but feel free to bring your own), quotes, words of support or wisdom where you can be as creative as you wish, there will be 3 books, one for each of Her children and we will gladly pass them around to friends and family as time goes by, and it will never be too late to add something! :)

Please know that you are in no way required to change any holiday plans that you already have! We know that folks already have Thanksgiving plans, and the last thing that She would want is for you to change anything to attend Her party - if you cannot attend but would like one of the memories we make to pass out, please let me know!

We are asking that those that do attend, please bring either some food to share (store bought, homemade, doesn't matter) and/or something to drink (beer or wine only, non-alcoholic, also doesn't matter) - and children are of course, also welcome! If you have questions that you don't want to ask on here, please email me directly at [email protected]

Her Loving Daughter and Family,
Britton, Trey and Gretchen
