OBITUARY

GARY MACK PITTMAN, 65, passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2008 after a courageous battle with Leukemia. He is survived by his wife Randi; two daughters Cathy Pittman and Dawn Pittman; two sons Clint Pittman and wife Elisa and Cody Pittman and wife Patricia; step-children Chad Helms and Christi Zuber and husband Blake; grand-children Cade Pittman and Grant Pittman; step-grandchildren Allison Helms and Ben, Jack and A.J. Zuber; brother Robert Pittman and wife Sue and numerous family members and friends. Gary was a varsity football coach at South Houston, Carrollton- R.L. Turner , Alvarado, Wolforth-Frenship and Alvin High School. For a number of years Gary owned and operated his own business. At the time of his death, he was employed by South Texas Valve. The family would like to thank the caring staff at M.D. Anderson. In lieu of flowers please make donations to the Lukemia-Lymphoma Society(LLS.org) and/or the Gary Pittman Scholarship Fund for athletes at Gulf Coast Educators Federal Credit Union. Visitation will be held on Monday, June 16, 2008 from 6p.m.-7p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, June 17, 2008 at 12:30 p.m. Both services will be held at Forest Park East Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Forest Park East Cemetery.
