Armando Posada
April 18, 1983 - July 30, 2018

With a very sad heart we announce the passing of Armando Posada on July 30, 2018 in Plano, TX. He was born on April 18, 1983 in Aurora, IL to Gonzalo and Sandra Posada. Armando attended Newman Smith High School and graduated in 2002. He later attended Brookhaven College to receive several credit hours. Armando enjoyed going out to eat with family as well as going to the movies. He enjoyed sports, friendships and visiting neighbors. Armando would visit local high schools and speak to students regarding drug awareness. He had a concern for the safety of young adults. Armando was a political enthusiast, a heartfelt Democrat. He did not hesitate to speak his opinions about Obamacare and immigrant families that are being separated. This young gentleman will be missed forever. Armando is survived by her loving parents; brothers, Joel and Gonzalo III Posada, sister, Irene Posada; nephew, Gonzalo Posada IV; nieces, Elizabeth and Naomi Santiago as well as many aunts and uncles and extended family and friends. A Visitation will be held at Metrocrest Funeral Home on Thursday, August 2, 2018 from 4:00 – 8:00 pm with a Rosary to be prayed at 7:00 pm. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated in his honor at Mary Immaculate Catholic Church on Friday, August 3, 2018 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow at Hilltop Memorial Park.
