OBITUARY

Betty Joyce Price

CARROLLTON Betty Joyce Price, 63, of Carrollton passed away Monday, March 5, 2001.
She grew up on a farm in Kansas and had a degree from Kansas State in home economics and chemistry. She was a county extension agent in Kansas, and then raised her family before working for the City of Dallas WIC program as a nutritionist. Besides having a busy social life, Betty loved the theater, opera, traveling, playing cards, arranging flowers, patio gardening and loved animals, especially her dog Beethoven. Betty was strong in her faith and spent quality time in church activities ranging from wedding coordinator, choir member and small group leader. She was a loving mother, grandmother and friend who touched many lives and will be greatly missed but always remembered.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynn Myers and her husband Robert of Southlake, Texas; son, Randy Price and his wife Glenda of Princeton, Texas; four grandchildren; brother, John William Weseloh of Carmel, Ind.; sister, Martha Wiegert of Colorado Springs, Colo.; special friend, Ron Knoll; and numerous other family members and friends.
Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. today at Rhoton Funeral Home with her funeral services at 2 p.m. Thursday, March 8, 2001, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Carrollton and burial to follow at Hilltop Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Metrocrest Medical Foundation, 1 Medical Parkway, Suite 200, Farmers Branch, Texas, 75234. Arrangements by Rhoton Funeral Home, 1511 N.
