OBITUARY

In Memory of
Randall G. Raley
October 1, 1946 - February 7, 2016

Randall G. Raley, 69, passed away peacefully February 7, 2016. He was born in Dallas, Texas on October 1, 1946 to David and Margaret Raley.

Randy grew up in Dallas, Texas before moving to Carrollton, Texas where he graduated from R.L. Turner High School. He attended North Texas University and met Jennifer Lynn Crozier through a neighbor. They were married June 24, 1978. In 1979 he settled his family in Grand Prairie, Texas where he owned his own business, Randy Raley Locksmith.

Randy was very active in with his children, he helped with their band and was a Boy Scouts leader. He enjoyed traveling to over 17 states with Lynn, especially going to Branson to see the shows. He loved fishing and was happiest on the lake. Randy was good at working with his hands and had a dry sense of humor.

Randy was a member of First Baptist Church of Grand Prairie. His dog "Jenny" was his best friend and he was known more recently as "Grandy". Randy was a private man who loved his family above all else.

Randy is preceded in death by his mother Margaret Alice Stiff Raley and father David Lovless Raley.

He is survived by his wife, J. Lynn Raley; children: Laura Jean Raley, Benjamin Luther Raley and his wife Captain Sarah Raley, David William Raley; grandson John "Zeke" Raley; brother Dale Allen Raley; sister Debbie Petty; brother-in-law Gary Allen Crozier and his wife Priscilla; mother-in-law Cleo Crozier and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

An outdoor service will be held in August 2016. An announcement will be posted on Facebook closer to the service date.

In lieu of flowers please make a donation to the American Kidney Association in Randy's honor.
