OBITUARY

Tom S. Robertson Dies

This community was saddened last Tuesday morning when word was received that Tom S. Roberson had died in Woodlawn Hospital, where he had been under treatment for the past eighteen months.
Tom Robertson was born near Bowling Green, Ky., in 1883.  Came to Texas about twenty six years ago with his mother, brother and two sisters.  They made their home in Carrollton and he was engaged in the grocery business for a number of years. He is survived by two sisters, Mrs. J. C. Foster, who resides east of town, Mrs. R. A. Hogue, of Oak Cliff, and one brother, Bates Robertson of Dallas.
Funeral services were held at Weiland Funeral Chapel, Dallas, Wednesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock conducted by Rev. C. C. Gregory, assisted by Rev. Glen L. Sneed, and interment was in the Grove Hill Cemetery by the side of his mother who passed away some eighteen months ago.
Many friends from Carrollton attended the funeral. Sympathy is extended to the bereaved relatives.
