OBITUARY

Funeral services for Joe Sedlick, 1826 Keneipp, Carrollton, who was killed last Thursday while working at Span, Inc., were held Monday.
Sedlick 41, an employe of the company which makes pre-stressed concrete girders, was pronounced dead on arrival at a Dallas hospital after a taut cable snapped and cut off his legs below the knees. He was crushed when the cable broke while he was putting stresses into a steal beam, it was reported.
Recitation of the Rosary was held Sunday at 8 p.m. in Rhoton Funeral Chapel. Requiem Mass was conducted Monday at 9 a.m. at Mary Immaculate Church. Father Vreteau, celebrant. Interment was in Calvary Hill with Rhoton Funeral Home in charge.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Leona Sedlick; sons, Joe and Billy Sedlick; and a daughter, Marsha Sedlick.
