OBITUARY

J. T. Squibb Dies

J. T. Squibb, father of W. T. Squibb and Mrs. W. H. Fyke, died at his home at Royce City Saturday afternoon March 4, at 5 o'clock.
Mr. Squibb came to Texas about 50 years ago from Tennessee together with Messers, Neal, Wood, and L. P. Smith where they were boys together in the hills of the old country.
He had only been sick five weeks at the time of his death.
The funeral services were held at the Methodist church by L. P. Smith at 5:30 o'clock Sunday afternoon.
Those attending the funeral services from Carrollton were as follows: Mrs. W. D. Fyke, C. A. Smith, Rev. W. H. Gillian, W. H. Johnston, Joe Hays, G. F. Myess, J. H. Perry, W. A. Gravley, Buster Gravley, D. E. Grubb, H. G. Foster.
