In Memory of James Edward Terry August 5, 1927 - November 21, 2012 James Edward Terry age 85, passed away on November 21, 2012. He was born in Wills Point, TX and grew up in Jacksonville, TX where he graduated from Jacksonville High School. James lived most of his life in the Dallas area. He most recently resided at Sandy Lake Rehab and Care Center in Coppell, TX. James was a Sergeant in the Army from 1945 to1947, where he was trained as a meteorologist. He worked for Dallas Heating and Air and then Dring Engineering, where he retired. James is survived by two daughters, Kay Terry Hoover of Magnolia, TX and Cynthia Lynn Terry of Irving, TX and a granddaughter, Lauren Elizabeth Hoover of Magnolia, TX , siblings, Billy Dean Terry of Charlotte, NC, Betty Jean Setliff of Dallas, TX, Lucretia Ann Stark of Scurry, TX, and Judy Rose McNeely of Farmersville, TX James is preceded in death by his parents, William Aubie Terry and Annie Lucille Terry, siblings, Charles Ray Terry, Loretta Terry, William Aubie Terry, Jr., daughters, Carla Jean Terry and Rebecca Sue Terry, and grandson, Bradan Ross Hoover. Visitation will be held Thursday, November 29 from 7-9 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton. A graveside service will be Friday, November 30 at 2:00 pm at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton.
