Judy Trammell
Choreographer

Judy Trammell is the highly acclaimed choreographer for the elite Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders organization. A native of Dallas and a graduate of R.L. Turner High School, she has accumulated an impressive resumé of dance credentials with dedicated training in the following areas -- jazz, tap, drill team and pompom.

After wearing the prestigious star-spangled uniform for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders and cheering on the sidelines of Texas Stadium from 1980 to 1984, Trammell was one of the first alumni to join the organization in the role of assistant choreographer in 1984. In 1991, she was promoted to head choreographer and assumed the full-time duties of instructing and training the squad.

Her responsibilities include developing cutting edge routines for sideline and pre-game performances at all Dallas Cowboys home games; producing show-stopping stage routines for the multi-talented DCC show group which travels internationally to perform at USO tours around the world and back home for corporate sponsors and clients; and directing and choreographing nationally televised halftime productions with up to 1,000 cast members.

Trammell's experiences both on and off the field have contributed to her success as a choreographer for the DCC organization. Her critical eye and attention to detail have been instrumental in elevating America's sweethearts to a world class organization that is emulated throughout the NFL. Her passion for dance, the squad and DCC is apparent in the high quality productions she produces for a worldwide audience.

Her resumé of work includes choreography for nationally televised programs including Jerry Lewis and Variety Club telethons; television specials - NFL Monday Night Football, Salute to Lady Liberty, Nashville Palace, CMT's Making The Team; Thanksgiving halftime extravaganzas for Clint Black, Reba McEntire, Randy Travis, LeAnn Rimes, Toby Keith, Creed, Jessica Simpson, Destiny's Child, Sheryl Crow and Carrie Underwood; music videos for MC Hammer and Toby Keith; DCC appearances on Phil Donahue, Geraldo Rivera, Montel Williams, Saturday Night Live, Harry and the Hendersons, Hard Knocks, Queer Eye For the Straight Guy, The View; special DCC concert appearances for the Oak Ridge Boys, Sammy Davis Jr., Neal McCoy and Journey; the NBC Academy of Country and Western Music Awards; the Miss Texas Pageant; big screen appearances in Dr. T and the Women and Invincible.
