OBITUARY

Upchurch Funeral Set for Tomorrow

Granville Robert Upchurch, 227 Avenue G, died at his home Monday after suffering a heart attack. He had been ill for about four months.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 2:30 p.m. at the Westside Baptist Church with the pastor, the Rev. Ralph Johnson, officiating. Burial will be in the Carrollton cemetery.
Upchurch, a retired farmer, was born in Alabama on Jan 16, 1866, was a resident of the state for 56 years, and of the county 19 years. He was a member of the Westside Baptist Church.
Survivors are three sons, T. B. Upchurch of Dallas; C. E. and J. M. Upchurch, both of Denton; one daughter, Mrs. C. B. Kirby, also of Denton; 20 grandchildren, 37 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
Shepherd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
