OBITUARY

John H. Ward

Funeral services for John H. Ward, 73, of 12348 Harry Hines, a Dallas dairy company employee, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday in the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch with the Rev. Glen Hayden and then Rev. W. B. Carroway officiating. Burial will be in Grove Hill Memorial Park.
Mr. Ward died Wednesday in a Dallas hospital after a short illness.
Born in Athens, Tenn., Mr. Ward came to Texas in 1936. he was a member of the First Baptist Church of Farmers Branch.
Survivors are his wife; a son, Samuel C. Ward of Fort Worth; two daughters, Mrs. Dora Brown of Dallas and Mrs. Mildred Gentry of Farmers Branch; two brothers, Sam Ward of Athens., Tenn., and Grover Powers of Sanrepta, La.; two sisters, Mrs. Annie Wright of Athens and Mrs. Nona Etheridge of Louisiana.
Pallbearers will be Porter Gentry, N. L. Gentry, O. A. Gentry, T. C. Wager, Jr., Robert Taylor, and H. C. Gentry
