OBITUARY   Age 40, passed away on December 22, 2012 in Dallas, Texas. Born January 25, 1972 in Dallas, Texas. Vanessa is survived by her parents, Jeffrey Neal Graves and Rose Mary Graves; daughter, Jessica Cardenas; son, Julian Cardenas; granddaughter, Gianna Gotelli; grandfather, William Graves; aunts, Tommie Ramos, Esther Padilla, Delores Hernandes, Brenda Atilano, Simona Garcia and Natalie Sible and her husband Larry; uncles, Alan Graves, Louis Atilano, Joe Atilano, Paul Ramos, Chris Atilano, Michael Atilano, Louis Padilla and George Hernandes. Vanessa grew up in Dallas and graduated from R.L. Turner High School in Carrollton, Texas. She went on to establish a career in the medical industry, working for many years as a New Patient Coordinator. Vanessa enjoyed many things including photography and country western music. She especially loved her family and her granddaughter was the light of her life. Vanessa will always be remembered for her contagious smile and her generous spirit. She naturally felt a need to always help others and will be deeply missed by all those who knew and loved her. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 29, 2012 at 2 pm at Rhoton Funeral Home in Carrollton, Texas. Submitted by Edward Lynn Williams
