OBITUARY
 
Clem Matthew Washington, 46, passed away on March 13, 2010, from a sudden heart attack in Louisiana. Clem was born in Louisiana on June 12, 1963, and was a resident of Dallas, Texas, for the last 17 years. He worked as the Vice President of Marketing for the Winn Dixie Corporation in Florida for the last two years and previously for the Albertsons Corporation for 21 years. He was an active member of Covenant Church where he was a member of the choir for two years. He was very actively involved in his children’s lives, which included many days and evenings spent on the 50 yard line of the soccer field. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn and five children, Britnee, CJ, Chaz, Cory and Chelsee; his parents, Lawrence and Mabel Washington of Gonzales, LA; his sister and brother-in-law, Carla and Kenny McAllister and their children, Cameron and Caelyn, of Gonzales, LA; and a host of other family members, including in-laws, nieces and nephews, cousins, and aunts and uncles. He is preceded in death by his sister, Constance Washington, and his paternal and maternal grandparents. Service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, March 20, 2010, at Covenant Church on Trinity Mills in the Chapel in Carrollton, Texas. Bryan Mason will officiate. Burial services will be at Hilltop Memorial Park in Carrollton, Texas. Serving as pallbearers will be Chaz Washington, Lee Barron, Andy Barron, Jay Barron, Robert Barron, and Marlon Brown. Arrangements under the direction of Metrocrest Funeral Home, Carrollton, Texas.
